Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with lemon pepper seasoning and salt.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Cook the seasoned chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Rest the chicken on a plate after removing it from the skillet.
  5. Make the sauce in the same skillet by adding heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Scrape the bottom for flavor.
  6. Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
  7. Coat the chicken again with the sauce and allow it to warm through for a minute.
  8. Serve plated with sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the salt and use fresh lemon juice for better flavor.
