A delightful dish blending tender chicken with rich flavors of mushrooms, bacon, and a creamy sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Riesling wine (or your favorite dry white wine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 oz bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
  2. Sauté garlic and mushrooms in the same skillet with olive oil until softened, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper, cooking for 5–6 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Add the Riesling wine, simmer for 5 minutes to infuse flavor.
  5. Create the sauce by stirring in the heavy cream and cooked bacon, simmering until the chicken is cooked through, 8–10 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for optimal doneness.
